Technical Summary

This document describes common local transmit and receive ports,
commonly called "symmetric RTP" and "symmetric RTCP", and explains
the advantages of using common local transmit and receive ports.

Working Group Summary

This document is not the product of an WG. However it is of interest to
  both AVT and BEHAVE.

Protocol Quality

This document is an AD sponsored document. It has been announced on both

the BEHAVE and AVT WG mailing list. Then it has been reviewed by the
RFC-editor as it was requested for publication as a RFC-editor
independent submission. In IESG's RFC 3932 review it seemed that this
document would be more suitable for IETF publication.
