Section 1., paragraph 1:

  Does IPv6 currently already use the procedure that this document is
  instantiating for IPv4, or does this document also update whatever
  procedure IPv6 is currently using? (I think the former, but it's not
  clear from this sentence.)

The abstract indicates that this document *revises* the IANA guidelines for allocating
new Next Header field values in IPv6, but it actually revises the guidelines for allocating
new IPv4 Protocol field values to align with the existing IPv6 guidelines.

This is clear from the body of the text (section 2), so I am submitting this as a comment,
but I believe this is an edit worth making...
