MINUTES
---------------------------------

1. Administrivia

  The minutes of the 2022-04-11 and 2022-03-14 RSOC meetings were 
  approved via email prior to this meeting.

  The minutes of the 2022-05-09 RSOC meeting were approved.


2. Changing the XML of RFCs 

  Jay Daley suggested via email prior to the meeting that the topic of 
  changing the XML of RFCs be picked up in the RSWG, once that convenes.


3. Old rse@rfc-editor.org mail archive

  The RSOC discussed what should happen to the old rse@rfc-editor.org 
  email archive. John Levine said via email that the archive should be 
  retained because it might be helpful to see past correspondence 
  between the RSE and other bodies. The RSOC agreed with that sentiment, 
  but wondered who should have access to those archives.

  * Action item: Peter Saint-Andre to reply to the thread about the 
    rse@rfc-editor.org archives and ask who should have access to those 
    archives.


4. RFC-Futures Update / RSOC Transition Planning 

  Sandy Ginoza reported that the documents related to the RFC Editor 
  Model transition are expected to go into AUTH48 this week.

  Cindy Morgan reported that the interview team from the IAB and the 
  IESG have finished talking to the RSWG candidates, but that the 
  interview team still needs to meet to discuss their recommendations. 
  Several members of the interview team are traveling this week, so that 
  meeting is expected to happen during the week of 2022-06-20.

  Cindy Morgan noted that the Secretariat will put in a placeholder 
  request for an RSWG session at IETF 114, since the chairs will not be 
  named before the session request deadline.


5. Next RSOC Meeting

  The next RSOC meeting is scheduled for Monday, 2022-07-11 at 10:00 AM 
  PDT.
