Dear Adrian, The MFA Forum is currently working on a specification for Packet Based GMPLS Client to Network Interconnect (CNI). The purpose of this specification is to define an MPLS-based CNI for establishing GMPLS Traffic Engineered (TE) Label Switched Paths (LSPs). The CNI provides an interface to an IP-MPLS Network for interconnection of client equipment. The client equipment can be Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) or other network elements in an IP-MPLS network. This document has completed our first level ballot procedure. This document uses GMPLS RSVP-TE procedures between a client and a network in the overlay model based on RFC 4208 GMPLS UNI. This specification differs from RFC 4208 with regards to following : * Only packet switched LSPs are considered in this specification.. * Multi-class QoS parameters for each LSP are added. Please review and provide comments. The MFA Forum would like to initiate its final ballot process during its March 6-8 2007 meeting. We would appreciate any comments no later than February 12 2007. Thank you for your consideration of this matter. Cordially, Rao Cherukuri Chairman, MFA Forum Technical Committee (draft MPLS CNI)
