Abstract
This informational document gives examples of SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) call flows for IP telephony. Elements in these call flows include SIP User Agents and Clients, SIP Proxy and Redirect Servers, and Gateways to the PSTN (Public Switch Telephone Network).
