The following was received electronically September 9, 1999 from Clarke Wixon, Patent Attorney, Xerox Corporation Fuji Xerox, Co., Ltd., has agreed to state the following with regard to its rights under Xerox intellectual property: Fuji Xerox, Co., Ltd., with its principal place of business at 2-17-22 Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo, 107-0052 Japan, is authorized under Xerox MRC patents to make, have made, use, offer for sale, lease, or otherwise dispose of its TIFF-FX (RFC2301) products having MRC-related capabilities. Fuji Xerox, Co., Ltd has participated in the TIFF-FX interoperability test process as an independent developer of TIFF-FX, including MRC (Mixed Raster Content) in a manner that is consistent with the MRC profile of TIFF-FX (i.e. Profile M).
