To the extent that the submitter has IPR therein, the submitter hereby grants a non-exclusive, royalty-free license for the use of any technique described in Section 2 of Internet Draft draft-perlman-trill-rbridge-multilevel-02.txt relating to implementation of aggregated flat identifiers such as nicknames, if such technique becomes necessary to the exercise of any extension adopted by the IETF to the IETF TRILL standard (the IETF TRILL standard being currently set out in Internet Drafts draft-ietf-trill-rbridge-protocol-16.txt and draft-ietf-isis-trill-05.txt). This grant is made further on the condition that no entity may benefit from this license if that entity asserts that any royalties are due to it for the exercise of any mandatory or optional part of any past, current, or future version of the IETF TRILL standard or for the exercise of any part of draft-perlman-trill-rbridge-multilevel-02.txt. |
