TOSHIBA TEC-TIFFFX License Statement
December 6, 2002

TOSHIBA TEC CORPORATION, with its principal place of business at 2-4-1,
Shibakoen, Minato-ku, Tokyo, 105-8524 Japan, is licensed under the
necessary JBIG patents to make, use, offer for sale, lease, or
otherwise dispose of its products having JBIG-related capabilities.

TOSHIBA TEC CORPORATION has participated in the TIFF-FX
interoperability test process as an independent developer of TIFF-FX,
including JBIG (ITU-T Recommendation T.82) in a manner that is
consistent with the JBIG profile of TIFF-FX (i.e. Profile J).
