Verizon provides notice that technology described in the document "draft-ietf-rtgwg-remote-lfa-01" may be covered by one or more claims that may be contained in any patent that may issue from US Patent Application 13/221,539, in which Verizon currently holds an ownership interest.

If technology in this document is included in a standard adopted by IETF, and any claims of any patent that issues from the identified patent applications are necessary for practicing the standard, Verizon agrees to grant nonexclusive rights under such patent claims to practice the standard to any party that makes, uses, sells, offers for sale or imports a fully compliant implementation of such standard on reasonable and non-discriminatory terms, subject to such party making a reciprocal grant to Verizon under any rights held by such party in any patent claims necessary for practicing the standard.
