November 21, 2000

Sun will grant the IETF and implementers of IETF Reliable
Multicast specifications a nonexclusive license to use its
essential patents that are necessary to implement IETF Reliable
Multicast specifications on reasonable and nondiscriminatory
terms and conditions provided that the IETF and such implementers
of IETF Reliable Multicast specifications provide a reciprocol
license consisting of the same terms and conditions to Sun, the IETF
and other implementers of IETF Reliable Multicast specifications.
