Additional notes

Based on the US Appellate Court of the Ninth Circuit ruling from March 3rd, 2016 (see link below), "any party using any of the protected methods in any of the related postings pertaining to US6370629 and US6393126 must agree to be bound by the laws of the State of California" per section 8 of this document:

----> http://www.slideshare.net/tglassey/contractsddisettlement -

My suggestion is putting on some Beatles and reading Section 8 of the Settlement backwards - this is how this agreement controls every IETF Standard which included protected methods from both US6370629 and the other settlement agreement covers US6393126.

That said - if you or your clients want a formal release from the California Law terms we have an attorney in Beverly Hills California handling that.

Here are the Reference documents of interest. The last one is of special interest - it shows the illegal filing dates of the patents filed without releases. It means not only is there a legal requirement of the application of California law to your use of these patents IP but also they are tied to illegal frauds in Japan, South Korea, South Africa, Brazil, Australia, Canada and the EU. Frauds those other Governments left laying around as timebombs since they can walk in at any time and acknowledge they exist.

Either way - if you want the license to side-step our side's demand you comply with the California Law mandate, they are available. For Microsemi's release against your use of the IP, you will have to contact Microsemi Counsel (currently LTL Lawyers in SoCal) on that.
