V. Licensing Declaration

The Patent Holder states that its position with respect to licensing any patent claims contained in the patent(s) or patent application(s) disclosed above that would necessarily be infringed by implementation of the technology required by the relevant IETF specification ("Necessary Patent Claims"), for the purpose of implementing such specification, is as follows(select one licensing declaration option only):

Licensing information, comments, notes, or URL for further information

The patent holder agrees to grant a royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive, reasonable and non-discriminatory licence to all implementers of the IETF Internet-Drafts identified in Section IV of this disclosure, in respect of any patent claims owned or controlled by the patent holder that are necessarily infringed by an implementation of the technology described therein.

The licence is subject to defensive termination: if a licensee, or any party in privity with a licensee, initiates a patent infringement action against the patent holder, its affiliates, successors in title, the named inventor, or any other licensee in good standing under this grant, the licence terminates as to that licensee as of the date the action is initiated.

Pursuant to RFC 8179 ยง5.5(C), this licence commitment is irrevocable and attaches to any patent or patent application currently held or hereafter acquired by Alter Meridian Pty Ltd or its successors in title that is necessary to implement the IETF Internet-Drafts listed in Section IV.

Note: The individual submitting this template represents and warrants that he or she is authorized by the Patent Holder to agree to the above-selected licensing declaration.
