Covered — the composed three-stage integrity pipeline (Golomb-Rice coding → Reed-Solomon → Golay(23,12,7) →
HMAC-SHA256) as a specific combination and ordering, and its coupling to the AdaptiveSwitch (turbo/full)
mode-selection mechanism, as described in draft-helmprotocol-tttps.

Not covered / non-claimed — the individual component techniques taken separately (Golomb-Rice coding,
Reed-Solomon coding, the Golay(23,12,7) perfect code, and HMAC-SHA256), all of which are long-published or
standardized primitives freely implementable by anyone. The interoperability minimum subset defined in draft
Sections 5-7 (sufficient to build a conformant, interoperating implementation) is likewise available without
patent-license risk.

This Royalty-Free commitment is not conditioned on reciprocity and applies for the life of any patent(s)
issuing from the disclosed application(s).
