General Instrument Corporation, Inc. has filed one
or more patent applications relating to IETF I-D submission: Network Control
Signaling (NCS)

Signaling MIB for PacketCable/IPCablecom MTAs.

General Instrument Corporation agrees to comply with
the terms of Section 10 of IETF RFC 2026 for any essential patent it may be
awarded for the applicable portion of the standard.  In General Instrument
Corporation's view, such terms would include availability of reciprocal
licenses to General Instrument Corporation, termination of licenses for
related lawsuits, etc.  Surrender of copyright is conditioned upon General
Instrument Corporation retaining a license to the copyright allowing the
copyrighted material to be used in any manner needed in its normal course of
business.  IETF acknowledges by its acceptance of this submission that
General Instrument Corporation retains all other rights, title and interests
in the submission and to the information contained therein.
