Resolution 1235: ISO/TC204 notes: - Its interest in the work being done within IETF’s ipwave WG and particularly the standard “Transmission of IPv6 Packets over IEEE 802.11 Networks operating in mode Outside the Context of a Basic Service Set”). This work allows communications between vehicles and roadside ITS stations using IPv6 directly over 802.11p. ISO/TC204 will reference this standard in the revised version of ISO standard 21210 on IPv6 networking for ITS. APPROVED Thierry. |
