ITU-T SG15 wishes to inform the IETF MPLS WG of our intent to initiate the approval process for the following document related to MPLS-TP at the July 2019 plenary meeting of Study Group 15: New Recommendation ITU-T G.mtdh, MPLS-TP Dual Homing Protection. The current draft of this document is attached. In addition, Q14/15 has begun work on two new Recommendations planned for consent in 2020. Q14/15 has adopted a new Recommendation numbering convention for the management protocol specific information/data model Recommendations. The base for technology specific information model is in G.xxxn, the purpose specific (e.g. OAM, protection etc.) information and data model will be in G.xxxn.y. 1. New Recommendation G.8152.1 for MPLS-TP OAM information and data models based on the current UML models specified in G.8152. The proposed topics to be included in new Recommendation G.8152.1 are MPLS-TP Information and Data Models for the G.8113.1 OAM functions. 2. New Recommendation G.8152.2 for MPLS-TP resilience information and data models based on the current UML models specified in G.8152. The proposed topics to be included in new Recommendation G.8152.2 are MPLS-TP Information and Data Models for the G.8131 and G.8132 Resilience functions. We would appreciate any comments you may have on these documents. The next meeting of ITU-T SG15 is in Geneva, Switzerland, 1-13 July 2019. |
