ITU-T SG15 wishes to inform the IETF MPLS WG of our intent to initiate the
approval process for the following document related to MPLS-TP at the July 2019
plenary meeting of Study Group 15: New Recommendation ITU-T G.mtdh, MPLS-TP
Dual Homing Protection. The current draft of this document is attached.

In addition, Q14/15 has begun work on two new Recommendations planned for
consent in 2020. Q14/15 has adopted a new Recommendation numbering convention
for the management protocol specific information/data model Recommendations.
The base for technology specific information model is in G.xxxn, the purpose
specific (e.g. OAM, protection etc.) information and data model will be in
G.xxxn.y.

     1. New Recommendation G.8152.1 for MPLS-TP OAM information and data models
     based on the current UML models specified in G.8152. The proposed topics
     to be included in
    new Recommendation G.8152.1 are MPLS-TP Information and Data Models for the
    G.8113.1 OAM functions.

    2. New Recommendation G.8152.2 for MPLS-TP resilience information and data
    models based on the current UML models specified in G.8152. The proposed
    topics to be included in new Recommendation G.8152.2 are MPLS-TP
    Information and Data Models for the G.8131 and G.8132 Resilience functions.
