This liaison answers IETF-LS17.

ITU-T Study Group 20 would like to thank the Internet Engineering Task Force
(IETF) for expressing its concern over the work item draft Recommendation ITU-T
Y.dec-IoT-arch “Decentralized IoT communication architecture based on
information centric networking and blockchain”. and providing information on
the Guidelines and Registration Procedures for URI Schemes as described in [RFC
7595/BCP 35].

This information was shared with relevant experts at the ITU-T SG20 meeting
(Geneva, 25 November-6 December 2019). ITU-T SG20 will keep updating the latest
progress and looks forward to continuing close collaboration with IETF on this
topic.
