At the ITU-T SG11 plenary meeting in July 2020, the following draft new Recommendation has been consented. ITU-T Q.3059 (ex. Q.SFD): "Signalling requirements for service function discovery". This Recommendation specifies the signalling requirements for service function discovery based on its functional architecture. The signalling is for service function path controller to discover and select the service function. The consented draft is contained in SG11-TD1408-R1/GEN. Please find below, in Appendix, the information of this work item using SDN Roadmap template. ITU-T SG11 looks forward to collaborating with SG13, JCA-IMT2020 and IETF.
