During the ITU-T SG13 virtual meeting (20-31 July 2020), Q2/13 (Next-generation network (NGN) evolution with innovative technologies including software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV)) has created a new work item on “Scenarios and Requirements of Intent-Based Network for network evolution” (Y.IBN-reqts: TD476(WP3/13)). ITU-T Y.IBN-reqts aims to sort out the application scenarios of the Intent-Based Network and raise the capability requirements accommodating to the carrier network accordingly, and to provide a basis for studying the Intent-Based Network. Proposed application scenarios and capability requirements in Y.IBN-reqts focus on how the Intent-Based Network can be used in the carrier network. ITU-T Q2/13 would like to thank you for your attention, feedback and cooperation on this topic. In addition, please find below the A.1 justification form for the new work item Y.IBN-reqts. Attachment: Draft Recommendation ITU-T Y.IBN-reqts," Scenarios and Requirements of Intent-Based Network for network evolution". |
