NMOP WG Reply to the ETSI ISG ZSM LS on Network Digital Twin
|
Body |
1. Overall description: The ETSI ISG Zero-touch network and Service Management (ZSM) would like to thank the NMOP WG for replying to our Liaison Statement and for informing us about the work you are doing related to the deployment and usage of YANG topology modules as a Digital Map. Such a Digital Map underpins a key part of the information flow by which a Network Digital Twin will be kept synchronized with its real-world counterpart. In particular, the ISG would like to confirm that we are working on NDT topics, and their related use cases, in ZSM architectural terms, and on how to use NDT technologies in order to enable a high degree of network automation. We would like to confirm that we would consider your proposed Digital Map, and the models it finally will encompass, as an authoritative source with respect to the network technologies addressed by IETF. 2.
