LS on Security considerations for MPQUIC
|
Body |
1. Description Thanks for reaching out to the QUIC working group [1]. We would like to note that the multipath extension of QUIC, as specified in draft-ietf-quic-multipath, retains all the security features of RFC 9000 [2] and RFC 9001 [3], respectively. The security consideration section of the extension draft therefore only contains additional considerations specific to use of multiple simultaneous paths. As of draft-ietf-quic-multipath-09 [4], published 21 June 2024, the Security Considerations section has been populated. The working group is still developing the draft including these considerations under working group consensus, receiving further updates in draft-ietf-quic-multipath-10 [5], published 18 July 2024. We welcome review and input from all sources. Please raise issues or suggestions in the form of GitHub pull requests to https://github.com/quicwg/multipath [6]. 2.
