Abstract: This liaison statement informs ITU-T SG2, ITU-T SG11, ITU-T SG17, IETF CATS, 3GPP SA1, and BBF about the initiation of new Supplement ITU-T Y.sup.cnc-roadmap “Coordination of networking and computing in IMT-2020 networks and beyond - standardization roadmap”. ITU-T Study Group 13 would like to inform ITU-T SG2, ITU-T SG11, ITU-T SG17, IETF CATS, 3GPP SA1, and BBF about the initiation of new Supplement ITU-T Y.sup.cnc-roadmap “Coordination of networking and computing in IMT-2020 networks and beyond - standardization roadmap”, at the ITU-T Study Group 13 plenary meeting on 26 July 2024. This Supplement provides the standardization roadmap on coordination of networking and computing in IMT-2020 networks and beyond (CNC). It addresses the following subjects: − overview of CNC from the perspective of standards development; − CNC related standardization activities in standards development organizations (SDOs), including existing standards and draft standards under development; − CNC related development activities in Open Source Organizations; − gap analysis in CNC standardization. ITU-T SG13 looks forward to keeping continued collaboration and exchange with you on the topic of coordination of networking and computing in IMT-2020 networks and beyond (CNC).
