Abstract: This Liaison Statement requests for the feedback on work items on
deterministic communication services and networking in ITU-T SG13.

ITU-T Study Group 13 would like to inform you that Question 6 of SG13 has
initiated a new work item related to deterministic communication services and
networking for the scope of large scale networks including IMT-2020 and beyond.

The initial draft Recommendation is as following and the corresponding document
is attached.

Draft Recommendation ITU-T Y.det-FQ-fa: “Functional architecture for stateless
fair queuing in large scale networks including IMT-2020” (SG13-TD964/WP1)

The following related draft Recommendations were updated at the meeting.

- ITU-T Y.det-qos-arch-lan: "Functional architecture for QoS guarantee of
deterministic communication services in local area network for IMT-2020 and
beyond” (SG13-TD951/WP1) - ITU-T Y.det-qos-req-ml-jrs “QoS requirements for
machine learning based joint resource scheduling to support deterministic
communication services across heterogeneous networks including IMT-2020 and
beyond” (SG13-TD952/WP1) - ITU-T Y.det-rdcs-rf “QoS requirements and framework
of deterministic communication for remote device control services over IMT-2020
and beyond” (SG13-TD953/WP1)

SG13 would like to inform you of a new work item conditionally approved at this
meeting:

- ITU-T Y.Det-qos-intwk-wan “Requirements and framework of deterministic QoS
interworking mechanism in wide area network including IMT-2020 and beyond”
(SG13-TD976/WP1)

SG13 would like to seek your feedback as to the above work items, in particular
with regard to their relation to work conducted by IEEE and IETF, possible
overlap with your work, and/or further opportunities for collaboration you see
between our organisations.

The latest drafts of these recommendations and the conditionally approved new
work item are attached.
