Body |
Thank you for your liaison titled “LS on call for contributions to new Focus Group on Artificial Intelligence Native for Telecommunication Networks (FG-AINN)”. The NMRG Chairs would like to bring to your attention the following work underway in the Network Management Research Group (NMRG) of the Internet Research Task Force (IRTF). The Active Internet Draft titled “Research Challenges in Coupling Artificial Intelligence and Network Management” [1] is intended to introduce the challenges to overcome when Network Management (NM) problems may require coupling with Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. The Active Internet Draft titled “Considerations of network/system for AI services” considers how to configure the network and the system in terms of AI inference service to provide AI service in a distributed method.
