Liaisons referred by this one Response to LSout to IETF on the Optical Cloud Networks (OCN)
Body
1. Overall description:

The ETSI ISG F5G would like to thank the IETF Routing area and CCAMP WG for the
liaison reply on the matter of the Optical Cloud Network (OCN) architecture and
its relevant protocols to support OSP connection and service control functions.

As recommended by the reply, selected members of the ETSI ISG F5G have
contributed a first draft to the IETF CCAMP WG (“Applicability of GMPLS for
fine grain Optical Transport Network”,
draft-lin-ccamp-gmpls-fgotn-applicability). Please consider this draft as a
first discussion on gaps in current protocol specifications.

In the future, more IETF drafts on the protocols required for the OCN
architecture will be contributed to the IETF. To the best of ETSI ISG F5G
knowledge, the protocol-oriented contributions might be better suited for the
PCE WG.

We look forward to continued collaboration between the IETF and ETSI ISG F5G.

2. Actions:

Please consider draft-lin-ccamp-gmpls-fgotn-applicability and future protocol
level contributions for implementing the OCN network architecture.
