Abstract: This liaison statement informs IETF/IRTF OPS and ETSI ENI about initiation of a new work item ITU-T Y.HLN-MecCCA “Comprehensive and collaborative awareness mechanism of human-like networking”. During the ITU-T SG13 meeting (Geneva, 3 - 14 March 2025), ITU-T Q7/13 agreed on initiation of a new work item on “Comprehensive and collaborative awareness mechanism of human-like networking” (ITU-T Y.HLN-MecCCA, SG13-TD61/WP3). ITU-T Y.HLN-MecCCA aims to illustrate comprehensive and collaborative awareness mechanism of human-like networking. Comprehensive awareness is implementing two or more aspects of awareness functions based on a set of information. Collaborative awareness is implementing two or more aspects of awareness functions through cooperation between different methods and information. ITU-T SG13 would like to thank you for your attention and looks forward to future cooperation on this subject.
