Hello, We want to provide you an update about the WT-454i2/Network Resource Model (NRM) project in BBF Provider Cloud WA, and at the same time ask about the status and expected publication date of a number of draft RFC texts from the IETF IVY work group, on which our work builds upon. Last year (06/02/2024) we provided you with information (our reference LIAISE-644) about a new BBF project that was established in 2023 in the BBF SDN-NFV Work Area (in the meantime renamed as Provider Cloud Work Area) with a goal to review and specify the information/data models exposed between the (CloudCO) Domain Orchestrator and the Access SDN Management & Control function addressing different use cases such as network build/planning, service build/fulfillment, assurance/service operations for the access network. This work has now resulted in the (draft) NRM YANG data models, categorized into Inventory NRM and Topology NRM. Accordingly, a new text for WT-454i2 is being written, that accompanies these new NRM inventory and topology YANG models. Both the NRM data models and WT-454i2 still need to be approved in the BBF Provider Cloud WA, before the updated specification (TR-454i2) and the BBF NRM YANG modules are officially published on Github. The Topology NRM mainly builds on/augments RFC 8345, but has also a dependency on • draft-ietf-ivy-network-inventory-yang The Inventory NRM builds on/augments the following IETF IVY WG drafts: • draft-ietf-ivy-network-inventory-yang • draft-ietf-ivy-network-inventory-location • draft-ietf-ivy-network-inventory-software We would like to ask if you have any target publication dates for the RFC drafts mentioned above.
