ITU-T Study Group 13 would like to inform ITU-T SG17, ITU-T SG21, 3GPP SA1,
IETF on the initiation of draft new Technical Report on Use cases of Converged
IMT-2020 and beyond networks and broadcasting network technologies for
developing countries.

SG13 meeting was held, 28 October – 6 November in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Question 5 of SG13 “Applying future networks and innovation in developing
countries” received a contribution on the initiation of a new work in a form of
a technical report.

Question 5/13 approved the initiation of this technical report for use cases
from developing countries. Question 5/13 would like to inform you about this
Technical Report and seek any input over the progress of the report.
