Body
ITU-T Study Group 13 would like to inform about the consent of draft new
Recommendation ITU-T Y.3064 (ex Y.KM-AN) “Knowledge management for autonomous
networks” at the ITU-T Study Group 13 plenary meeting, Tashkent, 6 November
2025.

Draft new Recommendation ITU-T Y.3064 specifies knowledge management for
autonomous networks. It expands on the Knowledge Base subsystem specified in
[ITU-T Y.3061]. Knowledge management for autonomous networks involves
leveraging heterogeneous data to acquire knowledge, and enables network
autonomy through knowledge processing and knowledge lifecycle management.

Draft new Recommendation ITU-T Y.3064 introduces a classification of knowledge,
and specifies requirements of knowledge management in autonomous networks,
knowledge management functional architecture, and sequence diagrams of
knowledge management in autonomous networks.

ITU-T SG13 looks forward to keeping collaboration and information exchange with
you on this topic.
