ITU-T Study Group 11 would like to inform ITU-T SG13, BBF, IETF and 3GPP about the initiation of new work item Q.BNG-FMI "Signalling Requirements for virtualized Broadband Network Gateway in Fixed-Mobile Interworking". It has been initiated at the ITU-T Study Group 11 meeting held in Geneva from 3 to 11 March 2026. Draft Recommendation Q.BNG-FMI specifies the architecture, signalling requirements and signalling procedures of the virtualized Broadband Network Gateway (vBNG) in fixed-mobile interworking. ITU-T SG11 looks forward to keeping continued collaboration and exchange with ITU-T SG13, BBF, IETF and 3GPP on the related topic. |
