(Thomas) Implementations for this?
- (Answer) Yes
(Thomas) How do you do ICN over Buetooth
- (Answer) Bluetooth mesh is new since 2017; it is based on BLE radio layer with everything on top a new stack;
- no IP layer on this system; it is “similar” to ICN
(Boerje) ICN spirit -- not ICN?
- (Answer) Yes
- (Thomas) Ok - Bluetooth “ICN style”
(Dave Oran) How tho you design the namespace for this?
- (Answer) We have short addresses (16 bit) address and a concept for 128 bit the pub sub address space; There is no name space; addresses are managed by a config utility
(Dave Oran) Media Lab system: detect a light not working vs burned out; is this system capable of that?
- (Answer) Sensor and fixture controller monitors a number of inputs; could do the same as Media Lab
(Ravi) How is multicast routing managed with large number fo light fixtures.
- (Answer) We use subnets to confine traffic; subnet bridges can be configured; TTL and message capture for cooperation results in 200/300 messages per second -
- (Ravi) Routing can be done across subnets?
- (Answer) Yes
(Wes H.) The way we need to address names in communication is not the same as how human do it; lots of work to be done still
(Dirk) Anything you expect from ICNRG?
- (Answer) Design of the IP layer; looking into how to take advantage of the ICN; come up with a unified architecture later

(Thomas) Useful small energy autonomous nodes that do harvesting?
- (Answer) Building smaller nodes
(Thomas) Routing of the information?
- (Answer) Look for higher PM; increase the level of the PM in the interest message.

(Eve Schooler) Single interest generating multiple responses or multiple interests going to multiple places?
- (Answer) Will be explained later
(Thomas) Seems to be a nice opportunity for ??? flooding the PIT
(Dave Oran) Issues of resource allocation; have you done any thinking on how to use the reuqest message to bound the max number of replies?
- (Answer) Rate limiting/rate control can help
- (Oran) Continue the discussion off-line
(Kanchana’s colleague) Hop count?
- (Answer) Yes it is implementation
(Dirk) License of Cefore software? MIT license? (Answer) Yes, essentially.

(Dirk) Useful mechanism that could be used. Please let us know what you think on the mailing list.

(Dirk) Done before Montreal? 1-2 revisions
- (Answer) Possible depending on the level of controversial commenting.
(Dirk) Elegant way to have NDN/CCN communication of the semantic level.

Dirk’s comment: Congestion control and routing are needed to continue the ICN work.
Planning for next ICNRG meetings
- January Interim? Host needed is there is a need for it.
- Default is next IETF 104 in Prague
