Russ: why do you need relative OID?
John: to support extensions
Russ: relative OID is an ASN1 type of its own. You have to know the base. Assumed prefix, if you don't know you can't create it.
John: not what I wanted. Only wanted to skip the 06 DER encoding
Russ: That makes sense. Wrong term ("relative")
John: terminology should be changed.
