• Charles: Pascal had comments on when to prefer AODV-RPL compared to
  legacy RPL. Added text in -16 to address this point.

  • Shorter routes than going through root, less congestion around
    root.

  • Pascal says we could go to WGLC with this document, good for
    DODAG reliability, which is needed.
  • Pascal: but there are other solutions for reliability, e.g.:
    double the Roots and toggle between them (hot standby).
  • Pascal: can RNFD help in the hot standby situation, to speed up
    the toggling? Would make the draft useful in a wider range of
    use cases.

• Dominique: we'll examine this in the next interim. Pascal, willing
  to contribute to the discussion?
