Hello SCIMers!

", "time": "2023-07-26T22:34:53Z"}, {"author": "Mike Kiser", "text": "

Good morning! (I always seem to ensure that SCIM IETF meetings take place between 12:00 am and 3:30 am my time. ;) )

", "time": "2023-07-26T22:36:24Z"}, {"author": "Nancy Cam-Winget", "text": "

@Mike: perhaps you can join us in person at the next one; though happy to have you remote too!

", "time": "2023-07-26T22:37:32Z"}, {"author": "Phillip Hunt", "text": "

yes

", "time": "2023-07-26T22:49:50Z"}, {"author": "Phillip Hunt", "text": "

THis was heavily used because of the way some apps are built

", "time": "2023-07-26T22:50:01Z"}, {"author": "Nancy Cam-Winget", "text": "

@Phil: are you saying /me is heavily used even today?

", "time": "2023-07-26T22:50:31Z"}, {"author": "Phillip Hunt", "text": "

(referring to /Me). /Me simplifies when used in conjunction with OAuth

", "time": "2023-07-26T22:50:34Z"}, {"author": "Phillip Hunt", "text": "

I know Oracle uses it.

", "time": "2023-07-26T22:50:44Z"}, {"author": "Phillip Hunt", "text": "

And I implemented

", "time": "2023-07-26T22:50:53Z"}, {"author": "Phillip Hunt", "text": "

It is useful when used in connection with OAuth tokens

", "time": "2023-07-26T22:51:32Z"}, {"author": "Aaron Parecki", "text": "

Phil do you want to join the queue?

", "time": "2023-07-26T22:51:32Z"}, {"author": "Darrel Miller", "text": "

@phil We have the oid claim in the Identity token that matches the userId, so the second call is not required for us.

", "time": "2023-07-26T22:56:02Z"}, {"author": "Phillip Hunt", "text": "

@Darrel - makes sense. Just not sure how you deprecate if the group isn't revving the spec.

", "time": "2023-07-26T22:56:57Z"}, {"author": "Darrel Miller", "text": "

Understood. I should have clarified that I was making my comment without context on how pragmatic it is to make the change within SCIM.

", "time": "2023-07-26T22:58:15Z"}, {"author": "Mike Kiser", "text": "

This naming convention is super helpful in my opinion - cuts a lot of the extra language out of the base use cases.

", "time": "2023-07-26T22:59:32Z"}, {"author": "Phillip Hunt", "text": "

Just a one off comment: Has the \"groups\" attribute of the User resource been considered?

", "time": "2023-07-26T23:07:48Z"}, {"author": "Nancy Cam-Winget", "text": "

@Phil: you can come back to the queue and ask

", "time": "2023-07-26T23:08:41Z"}, {"author": "Mike Kiser", "text": "

It would often be instance-specific, in my experience - i'm in the queue, though ;)

", "time": "2023-07-26T23:21:53Z"}, {"author": "Mike Kiser", "text": "

Completely agree that this kind of approach is super helpful !
