hello @meetecho... I have a new set of slides in datatracker, but when I hit refresh documents it still doesn't show up as available

Karen: you should see the deck now

", "time": "2023-11-08T10:54:12Z"}, {"author": "Karen O'Donoghue", "text": "

thanks... Is the refresh documents button the right one? Or am I missing something...

", "time": "2023-11-08T10:55:29Z"}, {"author": "Alessandro Amirante", "text": "

more tools >> admin >> manage slides >> refresh repo

", "time": "2023-11-08T10:58:02Z"}, {"author": "Alessandro Amirante", "text": "

this is the right path...

", "time": "2023-11-08T10:58:12Z"}, {"author": "Karen O'Donoghue", "text": "

okay... then what does the refresh documents button do?

", "time": "2023-11-08T10:58:28Z"}, {"author": "Karen O'Donoghue", "text": "

in any event, thanks. that particular logic path keeps tripping me up.

", "time": "2023-11-08T10:59:29Z"}, {"author": "Alessandro Amirante", "text": "

the refresh button in the meeting materials tab (which is available to all participants, not only chairs) only refreshes your local view of the meeting materials but doesn't upload them

I know this is confusing and needs to be re-designed!

maybe I just need to write a script to remind me of this before every IETF...

Ah, I just wanted to do the copypasta on not regularly talking to people about participating in WG chair training b/c those friends who are eligible already did it -- but being open to chair-curious people completely defused that.

+1 to @Pete Resnick -- you can also offer improvements to the material based on your experience

Is there a new training planned? https://chairs.ietf.org/en/training suggests that the \"current\" training is in the past, which makes it look stale

+1 @Carsten Bormann there is more than one way to use github (or gitlab, or any other git-backed development management web tooling), for sure. the discussion we had on list about \"what are useful tags\" was a good kind of cross-pollination without trying to mandate some specific set of things that might not apply anywhere.

@Daniel Gillmor: thanks for the flag. that page is now updated. the \"on-demand\" version is the best current option and that's (now) at the top if the page

@Robert Sparks is this the action you're talking about? https://github.com/marketplace/actions/github-archive-action

Some of the discussion seemed to assume that notificaitons to the WG email list of github decisions were sufficient. For any significant decision must be verified on the list, not merely notified.

@Daniel Gillmor No - most are using something written by Mike Bishop
