Draft: draft-ietf-anima-constrained-join-proxy-16 (was -15 at IETF121)
Presenter: Esko Dijk
Time: 10 min
Michael Richardson: Problem of discovering invalid registrar may be
overcome with trustworthy discovery mechanism, such as signed GRASP
messages.
Mcr: IANA table update request looks ok. (count a review)
Draft: draft-ietf-anima-rfc8366bis-13 (was -12 at IETF121)
Presenter: Michael Richardson
Time: 5 Min
TBD Michael: Lamps seems to have a new dependency against rfc8366(bis)
which may still be resolved by appropriate text in the bis.
Mean open topic of discussion (list) - what is the mechanism to extend
vouchers with (proprietary) data without havinto write new RFCs because
of a new YANG model every time...
Mcr: wants to get onto NetMod agenda to get review, will also try to
then go to YANG doctors.
Mahesh: There is Kent as a co-author, ask him directly instead of going
to NetMod. Or then ask chairs for YANG doctors review....
Carsten: Yang has identities, which means there are strings
type/values.. (mcr understood it...)
Order right now is just order of request arrival, and time is desired
time be requester. We will re-shuffle and cut based on interest/discuss
on the mailing list until the meeting.
Draft: draft-zhu-anima-lightweight-grasp-02 (was -01 at IETF121)
Presenter: Sheng Jiang, Longwei Zhu (local)
Time: 10 min
Carsten: Why should there be two ways of doing this ?
Toerless: Would be important to provide good justification:
Sheng: does not agree to specify only CoAP or UDP, both may be
used/preferred in different networks.
Bing: very useful work. Also necessary. Supports adoption. Tends a bit
to CoAP. Maybe better for implementers.
Draft: draft-yan-anima-mmcn
Presenter: Tianji Jiang (local) (From Zhiwei Yan
yzw_iplab@163.com )
Time: 7 min

And Esko is normally loud while Toerless is very quiet
| 2025-03-19T08:42:19Z |Toerless is/was quite a bit away from the mic
| 2025-03-19T08:46:26Z |I'm not sure the chairs read the chat, maybe somebody should sneak up to them and tell them
| 2025-03-19T08:47:03Z |Better now?
| 2025-03-19T08:48:38Z |Get some tape and stick the mic to Toerless' face... No, it's OK
| 2025-03-19T08:49:18Z |This time he was nearly eating it :p
| 2025-03-19T08:49:43Z |@meetecho the mic1 cam has gone blurry?
| 2025-03-19T09:02:57Z |@Esko Dijk yes, sorry about that: just fixed
| 2025-03-19T09:03:21Z |Wouldn't we use YANG identities for these strings?
| 2025-03-19T09:05:42Z |Agree, we need 'identities' for that.
| 2025-03-19T09:10:51Z |Maybe only standardize the CoAP variant?
| 2025-03-19T09:20:03Z |@Meetcho, the presenter screen in Boromphimarn 4 does not seem to be working.
| 2025-03-19T09:24:40Z |@Mahesh Jethanandani you mean the confidence monitor?
| 2025-03-19T09:25:31Z |"confidence monitor" -- love it.
| 2025-03-19T09:25:47Z |It's what you read from!
| 2025-03-19T09:25:56Z |The monitor that the presenter uses to see what is being presented.
| 2025-03-19T09:26:31Z |I did not know it was called "confidence monitor" \:grinning:
| 2025-03-19T09:26:56Z |Ack, I just notified the AV team
