Ketan : how about the hierarchical NRP? Is there a support from this
work?
Ketan: The other comments is that there is a new WG/BoF (ONSEN). If
there is WG formed, this would be the document that moves to ONSEN,
because this document could be covered by the new WG.
Aihua: it's better to know the new WG scope first, because we have
tech-specific content in this document that belongs to ccamp.
Ketan: it could be, then we could split the document.
Adrian: No. If the work is close to WG LC and becoming an RFC, let's not
wait on the possible creation of a future WG. The work is finished, we
do have dependency on teas model. What we have done are done.
Ketan: ONSEN part, let's see and we need to work the thing out when that
WG is formed. There is no dictate or mandate for this work to move
there. We only need to work out the coordination. We will discuss this
in IESG.
Haomian: ONSEN would be packet switching (need to confirm the charter if
WG formed), OTN slicing should not be dependent on their work.

Daniele: the relationship with pluggable models. Can we move this work
alone, and the pluggable one could adapt? Try to avoid a bis immediately
after.
Roberto: the attributes are close.
Italo: bis would be painful. We have finished the YANG, but always new
things to add. We need a better way to do revisions on the YANG.
Daniele: I was more worried to the things to be changed, but fine if it
could be augmented in the new document.
Italo: for new features (like performance monitoring) augmentation is
good way also considering modular design, but adding a new attribute
which was forgotten would better do via module revision.
Roberto: pluggable work is more from controller to controller, but this
one is focusing on the devices.
Ketan: Thank Italo for bringing this issue. CCAMP has documents more
than 100 pages so we hear the pain. OPS WG is discussing this new
process. Please be vocal.

Daniele: a lot of stuff in document, some is generic and some is
tech-specific. Maybe better to promote together. Is there any plan to
generalize it and move in other WGs?
Daniele: Given the fact that the NMA framework is progressing in NMOP,
maybe some content could be in that document. Let's put it together and
then we will see where to split.
Haomian: it is useful as a starting point, we have many optical-specific
parameters and scenarios, our working group will land in solution for
this scenario, with starting from this work.
Daniele: At least a portion of this work fits here.

Fatai: Draft is interesting. There is similar idea as CSO, work 10 yrs
ago. CSO was moved into ACTN. Look at history of CSO and maybe learn
from it.
Luis: CATS already defined different level of metrics. OTN plays a role
to support it.
Minxue: OTN supports the use cases in CATS.

Haomian: Commonality between this draft and previous presentation.
Moving optical n/w towards use for AI. Chairs mentioned CSO, and maybe
ALTO is relevant. But we never did the computation part of ACTN. Perhaps
we need to review the work again so we are not starting from scratch,
but find gaps in previous work.

Daniele: I like slide 7 (compare CATS and uonaco). This is the best use
of our face to face time. This is extremely useful.

fgMTN, but ITU did not specify the fg transport term.
Daniele: any plan to move the work towards CCAMP? Historically PCEP
requirements are defined in PCE. Chairs need to align to provide
guidance on where and how to progress the work. (confirmed no plan to
move to ccamp after offline discussion.)

more east-west negotiation.
Sugang: yes. this document describe popular issues when WSON is used in
the industry.
Italo: would like to hear more from operators.
Roberto: this scenario is probably from IOWN.
Sugang: yes and we are doing the research work to solve it.
Daniele: probably it's dependent on how the domain is defined. It's a
particular kind of domain.
