Yunfei is unavailable for the meeting. 09:05 Status of the WG (Chairs, 10 minutes) Stefano stated that group is doing well now. ppsp-survey draft seems ok, but needs to review further. 09:15 Tracker Protocol (Yingjie, 15 minutes) draft-cruz-ppsp-base-tracker-protocol-01 Yingjie presented her proposal draft with the updates from the last meeting. Chair with Yingjie asked for the adoption as a WG draft. Johan mentioned about JASON. Chair told that JASON is a good thing to consider about and mentioned that encoding is relevent but not essential and it is possible to leave endoing for the next step. Martin said draft is technically OK and can propose to adopt as a WG draft. Jan asnked about the peers behind NAT. Yingjie replied that if in same place behind NAT STUN server wont be necessary. Chair asked to read survey draft to understand the protocol in deep. Chair said that they plan to move the draft to WG draft after renaming. Martin said that it is better to make it WG draft and that will encourage people to read. 09:30 Tracker Protocol Extension (Rachel,5 minutes) draft-huang-ppsp-extended-tracker-protocol-01 Rachel presented the slides. Martin said better to wait till tracker protocol being accepted. 09:35 Peer Protocol and Demo Show(Johan, 30 minutes) draft-ietf-ppsp-peer-protocol-03 Johan presented the slides and demo. It was implemented as an android app. You can find it googling for ppsp android app. Martin said that there are some pending issues yet, but they can be used as enhancements. Wes suggested to think about more experiments, if there is no problems in the implementation then proposal would be appropriate. Johan told that can be try to deploy as an open source implementation and chair said it is a good option. Martin suggested to go for last call. Chair emphasis that it is better to have a second implementation of the protocol. Johan announced participants with devices with Android 4.1 can join the demo. IP was 130.129.9.94. VLC is required and mentioned that should scale for millions of peers. Mark asked about encoding, Johan replied that it is hardware encoding and mentioned the engine is part of the app. Wes asked whether the tracker protocol is included in this implementation and Johan replied that it is not and used hardcoded ip for this implementation. Johan ran demo part 2 with ppsp player in android market. Can be used to capture video and to post on twitter. He said next part is allowing to broadcast without twitter. 10:05 Enhanced Closed Swarm Protocol Supporting PPSPP(Johan, 15 minutes) Johan said encryption will be expensive in mobile platforms. Jan asked about what will happen about bad peers if distributed approach is used. Johan said that they can revoke the key using expiry time parameter there.
