Survey of existing efforts including at the Computer History Museum and need for wider and international coordination III. Common Myths 5 min The difference between informal archives and permanent repositories and need for explicit steps. IV. PROPOSED GOALS 10 min 1) Identify networking-related historical materials, around the world 2) Match materials with institutions that may preserve them, around the world 3) Recommend procedures for real-time preservation of selected materials V. INITIAL BRAINSTORM 30 min How best to identify/describe archiving institutions world-wide Ð 10 min. How best to identify/describe potential historical materials world-wide, including those generated by the IETF and its members. WhoÕs out there? What do they have? What is missing?
