LJ: will act on this during IETF week. 3 - Sam Hartman, Josh Howlett - AAA SAML draft-ietf-abfab-aaa-saml-06 a) use of the new extended RADIUS attribute form b) encapsulation of unsolicited SAML responses in the AuthN profile "We propose that unsolicited, unencrypted assertions MUST be returned without encapsulation, within a new RADIUS attribute ("SAML-Assertion")" Hum gave only weak consensus - LJ: this needs to be pushed to the list to generate the additional clarity/understanding needed for consensus. c) - NAI for ABFAB Assertion Query/Request Profile JH/SH to add text to reflect privacy considerations (a privacy note to be added to the draft section relating to this issue) Rough consensus that the proposed text is acceptable. d) - Discussion of naming JS to propose a "relaxed" version of the following bullet of the problem statement slide. - The authenticated RADIUS user and SAML assertion's ... Rough consensus on both of the last 2 bullets on the problem statement slide. e) - Application of Policy With the proviso that text will be added to reflect the ABFAB profile (for bullet point 1)… Consensus that the proposed language is acceptable. f) - Other issues Under veracity of data: text to be proposed that reflects the security considerations relating to trust. The concept of "must support not using SAML metadata" is assumed *not* to be intended as normative text. Otherwise, text accepted.
