Xiaohu Xu: allows PE to ask for a more specific prefix, couldn't the proposal be decorrelated from virtual hub'n'spoke. In such cases, you don't need the Import RT field.

Ron Bonica: both VPN RT and Import RT fiels are needed to make this work for virtual hub'n'spoke (RFC7024), but do not prevent using it in a context where hub'n'spoke is not used (in that context you could set these to the same value).

Xiaohu Xu/Ron/Keyur: clarification around the fact that the PE could receive more than one route, but nothing more than what it requested (only more specific routes), said not problematic in terms of number of routes (Ron)

    Xiaohu Xu: how do you do filtering on VSpoke?
    Ron: It will accept anything with RT-RED-FROM-HUB1
    Keyur Patel: if the RT matches it will accept, if the RT does not match it will not.
    Xiaohu Xu: But the VSpoke can now explicitly control the routes it receives
    Ron Bonica: It controls as much as it needs
