Let the chairs know if someone is going to work on it. Guidelines to support RTCP end-to-end in Back-to-Back User Agents (B2BUAs) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Presenter: Lorenzo Miniero Slides: http://www.ietf.org/proceedings/89/slides/slides-89-straw-0.pdf Draft: draft-ietf-straw-b2bua-rtcp It was clarified that it is not assumed that B2BUAs always change SSRCs in RTP, but that the slide covers the case when it does happen. It was indicated that it should be clear whether the assumption is a single RTP session, or separate RTP sessions on each side of the B2BUA, and that the draft should focus on cases which are sensible from an RTP topology perspective. It was indicated that the draft should refer to the RTP topology document, rather than repeat text. It was indicated that the SSRCs may change during a session, and may not always be aligned/synchronized with what has been signaled in SDP. It was clarified that all types of RTCP message may not be forwarded, but that the text focuses on AVPF. Indicated that, in case of calls with multiple users and flows, CRSC rewriting also needs to be considered. There was some discussion about the terminology used the STRAW B2BUA taxonomy document, which seems to differ from the terminology in RFC 3550. Some people said the 3550 terminology should be used, while others said that we in the STRAW WG should use the STRAW terminology. People had many opinions on the work, and the chairs encouraged people to continue the discussions on the STRAW mailing list.
