TRAM WG Session IETF 89, London, UK WEDNESDAY, March 4, 2014 Chairs: Gonzalo Camarillo Simon Perreault Note takers: Pal Martinsen Andrew Hutton * Administrativia The chairs provided a summary of where the group was. They clarified that this was already a WG session, not a BOF session. The plan was to get started with the chartered items. The WG's charter includes a set of milestones and the WG will need documents for all of them at some point. It was clarified that the WG's scope is not limited to TURN. Modifications to STUN are within the scope of the group as well. * draft-petithuguenin-tram-stun-dtls Discussions led by Marc Petit-Huguenin There was a strong consensus in the room to adopt this draft as a WG item for the miletone about adding DTLS as a transport for STUN/TURN. * draft-reddy-behave-turn-auth Discussions led by Justin Uberti There was a strong consensus in the room to adopt this draft as a WG item for the miletone about analysing the problems with current TURN authentication. Additionaly, the relevant milestone will updated to reflect the fact that the eventual RFC will be Informational. * draft-johnston-tram-stun-origin Discussions led by Alan Johnston This draft and the next one both address the milestone about new TURN authentication mechanisms. Note that this milestone could very well encompass several documents. This draft still needs more list discussions. * draft-reddy-tram-turn-third-party-authz Discussions led by Justin Uberti This draft still needs more list discussions. * draft-patil-tram-turn-serv-disc Discussions led by Dan Wing There was no consensus regarding whether or not this draft should be adopted as a WG item. Not enough people had an opinion. Therefore, this draft still needs more list discussions. * The meeting ended
