Last time in Prague, the VPWS model was presented. This time, this is about VPLS. Presentation: https://www.ietf.org/proceedings/94/slides/slides-94-pals-1.pdf Himanshu Haven't talked about attachment circuits. Work with MEF and IEEE and do what they are doing. Need to discuss how to coordinate with the other groups. Robert Wilton: Working on a draft in NETMOD. Look at Attachment Circuits as Interfaces. IEEE is doing bridge model and 802.1Q, MEF is at service level not circuits. What are L2 circuits? --- what is the generic part and who should work on this? If it is technology specific, it should be done in the group that owns the technology. VLANs are not technology specific (Robert). There is a plan to cover VLANs in IEEE, it is just not compele (Helen). IEEE is solicting feeback on L2 Services (Helen). Pointing Robert to work with the IEEE to ensure alignment. Use the YANG coordination page to indicate what is going on in other standards bodies. Please contact David Sinicrope if you have input for the YANG page. Deborah, work at Hackthon on YANG catalog across multiple SDOs OpenConfig group is reviewing the work of the EVPN and L2VPN YANG drafts Matthew -- If VxLAN -- discuss with NVO3 and review their YANG models Himanshu -- OAM interworking work done in PWE3 --- need to cover that work in the YANG model. Expecially the state and monitoring aspects. That should be covered in PALS. Interworking of L2 as well needs to be covered. VCCV? Yes that will need to be done as well. ********************************************************************** Overflow (Will be presented if time permits.) ********************************************************************** xx. - None currently ********************************************************************** REMOTE INFORMATION FOR THE PALS SESSION(S) ********************************************************************** Remote Participation Info: http://www.ietf.org/meeting/94/remote-participation.html - IETF 94 Agenda with Audio and Jabber links: https://tools.ietf.org/agenda/94/
