With Ranking Digital Rights, he sets standards for and assesses how global technology companies hold themselves accountable on freedom of expression and privacy issues. He previously worked for, among others, the United Nations, civil society organizations around the world, as well as for the Dutch government. Motoko Aizawa is Managing Director USA of the Institute for Human Rights and Business. She leads a number of programs including one on Internet governance, and she has been active with ICANN's efforts to embed human rights in its operations. Prior to joining IHRB, Motoko served as Sustainability Advisor at the World Bank Group.
