Legal review is being solicited by Scott. Waiting for legal feedback o Allison to send DISCUSS comments on draft-ietf-zeroconf-ipv4- linklocal o Allison to send DISCUSS comments on the draft-ietf-provreg-epp documents o Patrik to check with W3C to see if there are any problems with draft-kindberg-tag-uri 3. The IESG approved publication of Gateway Control Protocol Version 1 as a Proposed Standard. Secretariat to send announcement. 4. The IESG approved publication of Graceful Restart Mechanism for LDP as a Proposed Standard. Secretariat to send announcement. 5. The IESG approved publication of LSP Hierarchy with Generalized MPLS TE as a Proposed Standard. Secretariat to send announcement. 6. The IESG approved publication of TCP Friendly Rate Control (TFRC):Protocol Specification as a Proposed Standard. Secretariat to send announcement. 7. The IESG approved publication of TLS over SCTP as a Proposed Standard. Secretariat to send announcement. 8. The IESG approved publication of Policy Core LDAP Schema as a Proposed Standard. Secretariat to send announcement. 9. The IESG tentatively approved publication of Guidelines for The Use of XML within IETF Protocols as a BCP, but a final revision is needed. Ned to make sure it happens, and let the Secretariat know when ok to send announcement. 10. The IESG approved publication of Framework for MPLS-based Recovery as an Informational RFC. Secretariat to send announcement. 11. The IESG had no problem with the publication of On the Difference between Information Models and Data Models as an Informational RFC. Secretariat to convey to RFC Editor. 12. The IESG approved formation of the Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (xmpp) Working Group. Steve to make sure wg record is updated using October 25 message from Patrik. Once confirmed all is well, Secretariat to send announcement. 13. The IESG approved the new charter and milestones for the IP over InfiniBand (ipoib) Working Group. Thomas to make one more edit pass and send the final results to the Secretariat, who will update the WG records. 14. The IESG agreed with the idea of requiring advance approval of the Area Director before updating a document that has been submitted for pubication. SCoya swears (to himself) we tried this before and need to learn from what went wrong the last time. 15. A Framework for Layer 3 Provider Provisioned Virtual Private Networks (Informational) was deferred until the next telechat. 16. Graceful Restart Mechanism for BGP with MPLS (Proposed) is being removed from IESG consideration. 17. The IESG agreed to one more telechat before the IETF meeting in Atlanta, to be held November 14. The IESG also agreed not to hold a teleconference following the IETF as it is Thanksgiving (in the US). There was some talk about scheduling it the Wednesday before, but this will be decided in Atlanta. 18.
