Alex will update the minutes. o Status of drafts Alex: Two pending reviews from directors for SCHC-18 Alex:once Suresh completes his AD review, he will send the IETF last call Dominique: DLMS already has UDP over IP profile. The shortest path to DLMS/LoRaWAN is DLMS/UDP/IP/(SCHC)/LoRaWAN. Dominique: LoRa Alliance needs "SHCH for UDP/IP" and "SCHC over LoRaWAN" to be RFC's to complete the specification of DLMS over LoRaWAN. Alex: timeframe for SCHC published as an RFC could be approx September? Dominique: Carsten only sent part of his reviews, do we wait for more reviews before re-spinning the draft? Pascal: We complete 2 reviews and then we get the last call in order to do not have twice the same comments Laurent: Now there are some pending comments? Dominique: we agreed on how to address Carsten's comments, but we still have to receive his review on the fragmentation part of the document. And also expecting an INT Dir review. Alex: we pinged Suresh and he pinged all the reviewers. Understand that Suresh will do the INT Dir review (instead of offloading it to somebody else). [16:10] draft-ietf-lpwan-schc-over-lorawan-00 (Ivaylo) [30min] -8 authors now, Pascal: ask to put one editor and the others as contributors Pascal: who is the editor? Ivo: Olivier has made most of the last changes Alex: could we have two editors? Pascal: yes, look at the 6tisch architecture Ivaylo: updates since last document publication. Architecture, Ivaylo: IETF terminology -> LoRaWAN terminology update. Having the terminology avoids having to move between the documents (lpwan overview) Ivaylo: more LoRa addressing and MAC layer information Ivaylo: Change in FPort processing. FPort down and Up - now one extra (FPort short) -> shorter headers for smaller packets. One other FPort for IPv6 max payload size. Ivaylo: every implementation should be able to support 6-bit Rule IDs Ivaylo: Open question - IID Computation - are there any recommendations ? Pascal: every time there is a document on IID in 6TSCH, there is a review from Dave (who wrote RFC 8065)Taler on questions related to privacy. Pascal: it would be great to have a negotiation between the server and the device to have both agree on the device. Or have a computation on both end-device and core, which provide the same IID. Pascal: the computation may be some hash function for example. Ivaylo: now uses ACK-on-Error instead of ACK Always for uplink fragmentation (downlink fragmentation is still using ACK Always) Ivaylo: added a 1-bit DTag Ivaylo: List of fragmentation parameters (should be easier for readers) Ivaylo: Having an ACK format slighly differnt from the one in the SCHC document was discussed. The idea is to use the C bit in case there are no losses (not sure). Dominique: there is a C bit in all ACKs. Compressing trailing zeros in the bitmap. Another thing discussed with Olivier was that it is possible to have 5-bit Rule IDs for fragmentation Laurent via the chat: -00 does not reflect what Ivaylo said Ivaylo: I'm presenting changes for -01 (not yet published). It's on github, anyway. [Ivaylo shares the github link via the chat: https://github.com/Acklio/schc-over-lorawan/tree/draft-version-04] Ivaylo: plan is to publish -01 before the next IETF cut-off date. Reviews would be great. Laurent: Will take a look Dominique will also review Pascal: Ivo & Olivier produce the text, Dominique and Laurent will do the review it is in line with SCHC. [16:40] draft-ietf-lpwan-coap-static-context-hc-07 (Ana) [10min] Klaus: would be great if this presentation can be given at the CoRE interim meeting starting in just a few minutes Ana: published -07, addressed issues with RFC 2119 language Ana: WGLC has started Klaus: I have a bunch of questions. Hope you can answer them in the CoRE meeting. Ana: sure! [16:50] AOB [10min] Alexander: I corrected the minutes. Ivaylo, please double check.
