Notes are intended to capture the gist of discussion, not presentations.
Reviewers needed for drafts: FLIC, Traceroute, Ping, path steering, reflexive forwarding, …
If people have other topics, please bring forward.
Carlos Guimarães
Marie-Jose Montpetit: addresses a lot of pain points of people trying to do distrib. apps in IoT. A lot of these elements don’t even have an IP addr. A lot are exposed to industrial busses like BACNET(?) - what do you do in between the device and IP world?
Ken Calvert: What is the security architecture?
Börje Ohlman: have you implemented this over NDN or CCN or other ICN protocols?
Dirk: You didn’t mention security at all. Is there anything?
Rhett Sampson and Jaime Llorca
People with questions: please reach out to Rhett/Jaime, due to time constraints.
White paper at gtsystems.io/whitepaper (maybe later?)
Junxiao Shi
Dirk: how would you deal with things that go wrong, e.g., transport protocol failure. Is there an exception system?
Dirk: What is an attractive scenario for using NDNts? What is your intention? Interesting feature: can run in a browser. Is the motivation to build applications in a browser?
Dirk: we have started using NDNts for some experiments. Possible next topic: how would you name browser, these seem interesting?
Thanks all, for presenting and attending. Expect further discussions on list or among individuals… Happy holidays to all!
