Does it fit the need? Pascal: checked the YANG specific recommendations of shephard write-up? Laurent: done. Pascal: doc probably going to be a bit late, do we need to update the deliverable date? Eric: not for a few weeks/months as long as the milestones are not off by more then 3 months Pascal: more worried about the OAM doc. Pushed to Feb 2022. Reminder: no LPWAN session at IETF111 meeting. ## [16:10] SCHC for CoAP [10min] * News of the world Ana on SCHC / CoAP Missing a WG agreement on the title Abbreviated title should be SCHC for CoAP For the extended 3 choices ## [16:20] SCHC for SigFox [20min] * New draft published Juan Carlos presents Introducing the new SCHC compound ack Pascal: how is that compared to a larger window? Just to save btsin the FCN? JC: this gives more flexibility to send the ack sooner if radio conditions are bad Laurent: does the compound ACK need to go into the data model? JCZ: have not thought about it so far. Maybe. JCZ: draft progressing neatly, need a little more to update. useful to keep advancing the draft before WGLC. Pascal: Ideally you'd publish a month before IETF in Madrid so we can launch the WGLC and complete the discussions at IETF 112 ## [16:40] Data Model for SCHC [15min] YANG "features" can only be high level, e.g. fragmentation or compression. May not depend on protocol being parsed. Pascal recommends to incorporate compound ACK int the data model, and default it to "no". Laurent: pb of normative ref? Alex: schc-over-sigfox draft could augment YANG model later. Eric: would be better to have a single SCHC module. But not at the expensive of waiting two extra years. Alex: writing a separate document would be useful to the community. 3 options - delay yang draft to incorporate compound ack, SigFox document defines the operation as today - compound ACK and YANG model extension in document separate from the SigFox profile - All merged in SigFox document adding the Yang to the SigFox document Laurent: what is the process to request SID values? After publication? Carsten: write own registry until main one exists (??) ## [16:55] AOB [ QS ]
