CBOR working group conference call, 2022-04-20

  • file-magic: One DISCUSS so far, being processed?

    CB: on it (probably in time for tomorrow’s IESG meeting)

  • packed: Ready for WGLC?

    CB submitted updated, considers it ready. BL: Can will send WGLC announcement. CA: Will review.

    IMD: In previous meeting before IETF, CDDL 2.0 was announced. CB: Things got delayed. But most other CBOR work is through. (time-tag expired but still in group; SEDATE is converging so can continue.) CA: Some of your impl sounded like going in CDDL direction; anything usable? CB: Underestimated extractor into “post-schema validation instance”@xml, that’s probably the next freezer section to surface. Input would be appreciated. (Also, cf. annotation in relax-ng). Should also collect slideware.

  • record proposal: Where is this stuck?

    CB: We should review Kris’ proposal, and then ask to register tags. → CA solicit reviews.

• CBOR use in IETF and other SDOs

  • file magic might find its way into ace-key-groupcomm

• AOB

  • 2 weeks from now, T2TRG will conflict with CBOR (probably only CB overlapping).
  • →BL: Call for agenda items eariler, with option to cancel if no input.
